In John 10:10 Jesus described our enemy as a thief. Within the same scripture Jesus declares I have come that ‘they’ might have life….WE are the ‘they’ and therefore Satan is the ‘thief of the they’ or of the Righteous. The enemy of our souls is out to plunder from the Righteous the things that God ordained us to possess and live in.
