Six steps to sharing your faith and God's love with others.
Wish you had the courage to share your faith with others or
simply wish you had a guide to helping others learn more about
the Lord? The following six point guide is a helpful tool in
sharing your faith and God's love with others around you.
Remember that God wants each person to know Him as Lord, but it
will ultimately be their decision to submit their lives over to
Him. As you take these steps keep in mind that you are planting
seeds of faith and even if not every person responds in the way
you expect them to, your seed can go a long way.
Six Points to Make when Sharing Christ with Others
1.
God Loves You:
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have
everlasting life.
Romans 5:8
But God demonstrated His own love toward us, in that while we
were still sinners, Christ died for us.
2. All Have Sinned:
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Isaiah 64:6
But we are all like an unclean thing. And all our righteous acts
are like filthy rags: We all fade as a leaf. And our iniquities,
like the wind, have taken us away.
3. The Result of Sin:
Romans 5:12
Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and
death through sin, in this way death came to all men, because
all have sinned.
James 1:14-16
But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own lust,
and enticed. Then, when lust has conceived, it gives birth to
sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
4. Being Good Won't Save You:
Titus 3:5
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according
to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration
and renewing of the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of
yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone
should boast.
5. God's Gift to You:
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal
life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
John 1:12
But to those that receive Him, to them He gives the right to
become children of God, to those who believe in His name.
6. New Creation:
Romans 10:9,13
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in
your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be
saved. For whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be
saved.
2 Corinthians 5:17-18
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old
things have passed away, and all things have become new.
