Desiree Liggett
Desiree
oversees
Generations Children's Ministry which spans from
nursery through fifth grade.
She has an extensive group of women, men, and teens that serve
under her. She stepped into the role of Director in 1997 at the
age of eighteen. She has worked on staff at the church since
1995, and was an active volunteer before being hired. She also
serves as the Executive Secretary for the church, is a co-leader
of Women of Fire, and travels with
Sister Dee as a ministry companion at women's events.
Born in Wichita, raised on the road traveling with her family –
founding
Pastors of the Ark; Desiree came to Christ at the young
age of five. She had a true desire to minister to children, as a
child herself that has been the driving force behind her
compassion, love, and calling to work with children. Desiree's
life is focused on ministry and her family.
Desiree and her
husband, John, met at the Ark and married in 1998. They have 3
children – a son, Sage; and two daughters, Zoie and Zavi.
